Standard consultations last up to 15 minutes. More complex appointments take longer and attract a different Medicare number; it is a great help if our staff can be warned beforehand if you feel a prolonged time will be needed.
Vaccinations and other regular injections can usually be double booked into our daily schedule if the staff are warned, and do not require a full appointment time – unless there are other matters medical you also wish covered. Please let us know if you only need the injection(s).
Appointments for adult patients new to the practice take a longer time on their first visit and as such sufficient time needs to be set aside. If you have visitors from outside the area who need medical help during their stay, we shall make every effort to enable this – please discuss this with our staff when you ring.
We are trying to keep our appointment times suitably spaced to reduce waiting times for everyone – please help us by predicting if your proposed visit to the surgery may be a lengthy one.
